Rick has lived in the Forest Lake area since the early '70s and graduated from FLHS in 1982. As a youth, Rick showed promise as an entrepreneur when he began working in his father's home construction business at age 13 as a painter. By age 16, he organized his own painting business, hired assistants, and was contracting with new and existing homeowners.

After graduation, Rick's ambition led him into business as a general contractor where he built four new homes. Through this experience, Rick recognized his passion for selling real estate and became a licensed agent for ERA Muske at age 20.

Rick sold over $2 million his first year and soon after began developing residential sites. He continued working with the same tenacity over the past decade, completing 14 developments with over 700 homes. In addition, Rick began to aggressively seek out, list and sell existing homes. The experience he gained working with his father and on new construction gave him extensive knowledge of the market. Rick utilizes this knowledge and integrates it with aggressive and persistent negotiation skills to get the best price and terms for his clients.

Rick has been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer every year since becoming a Realtor. In 2006 Rick was again ranked as the #1 Realtor with ERA Muske Company and recognized as being in ERA's TOP 5 Nationally! In the past few years Rick has had the honor of having been voted ERA's Realtor of the Year, ranked #1 Nationally by ERA several times, recognized in REALTOR MAGAZINE as being ranked 32nd out of the Top 100 of ALL Realtors in the Entire Nation, along with many other awards and honors. There has been no one else in the Lakes Area since 1984 to close more sales than Rick Schilling. Rick has sold in excess of $425 Million in Real Estate with over 2353 transactions. He continues to rank as one of the top agents nationwide. Rick's expertise and attitude have been the driving force to keep him in the forefront of the real estate market in the Northeast Metro and Forest Lake areas. Rick is a true real estate professional.
